Winter Weather Cancellation Policy

We all know that at some point this winter we will have a ton of snow. However, we cannot afford to cancel practice each time we get a few snow flurries. We understand that many of you drive a great distance and we will understand when you cannot make it to a practice due to poor road conditions. We do not want anyone to risk driving here when the weather is poor in your area.

The club’s decision to cancel all practices for the evening will be made by 2:00 PM by the administration.

Information about canceling a practice due to winter weather will be posted on the Northern Lights Facebook and Twitter accounts by 2:00 PM.  Cancellations will also be posted on the Northern Lights website.

If you cannot access the internet, call somebody on your team. This will help the office staff avoid answering “Yes, there is still practice” over 300 times every time it snows.

Please do not call or email the office to find out if practice has been cancelled.
