Northern Lights Setter & Elite Setter Camps 2025
Aame’s Full Day Setter Camp
For setters and non-setters grade 6 or above in the Fall of 2025. Open to girls only. All ability levels welcome! Everyone can get valuable training and reps in this camp led by Dennis “Aame” Amundson.
Aame’s Half-Day Setter Camp
Campers in this camp will work only on setting. Setters will work on footwork, hand positioning, set placement and tempos. Open to girls of all skill levels. This is a half day camp taking place in the morning wave only.
Campers must be entering grade 6 or above in the Fall of 2025.
Aame’s Elite Setter Camp
A high-intensity fast-paced camp focusing on high repetition.
The Elite Setters Camp is a three day, all day camp. The setters will have basic training each day, and then be paired with either Middles or Outsides for part of the day. This means you will actually get to set real hitters!
Girls who attend must be entering grade 8 or above in the Fall of 2025.

Dennis “Aame” Amundson has been coaching the sport of volleyball for over 50 years. Highlights of his career thus far include:

- Lead coach for Northern Lights setters and setters’ training
- Head coach of our top summer setting training program, the Setter Academy
- Volunteer coach & asst. coach, women’s volleyball team, University of St. Thomas
- Head coach, women’s volleyball team, Minnesota State – Mankato (10 years)
- Volunteer asst. coach, University of Minnesota (8 years)
- Harding High School (20 years), 3 state tournament appearances
- Inductee into the MN Volleyball Coaches’ Association Hall of Fame

Spectators are discouraged during the setter camps.

There is no switching of sessions within 72 hours of the session date.
Parents – be sure to verify your daughter’s graduation year is reflected correctly in her account. Graduation year is the first thing we look at when accepting to these camps. The following are for the 2025-2026 school year:

Grade 6: Class of 2031
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- 50% refund requested in writing four weeks prior to the start of camp, no refunds within four weeks.
- Requests for full refunds may be granted upon individual written request only in the case of medically documented injury (this means a note from the doctor).
- All refund requests must be emailed to [email protected]
- No refunds or credits shall be made for cancellations due to inclement weather, or circumstances out of our control.
- No pro-rated fees for missing sessions.
