    Junior Club Experience:
     
  • I have been pre-selected for Northern Lights the past two years. I joined the club my Sophomore year.

  • My first year I played on 16-Red team. We won the Kansas City Qualifier and the May Memorial weekend Tournament.

  • This year I moved to 17-Black. During the January Thaw tournament we placed second and won a bid to go to Indianapolis. For the February Omaha tournament we took first place. The Northern Lights Qualifier in March we placed second. The Kansas City Qualifi

  • When in off-season I have been continuing to stay involved with the club by helping set up tournaments and participating in camps and skill sessions.

    My Favorite Volleyball Moment:
     My favorite volleyball moment was during the 17-Black January Thaw tournament. We were playing against a challenging team and they tipped the ball to our setter. She hit it up but it went into the table and speakers. I ran from middle back to the tables and scooped it up for a winning point. From this play the team and coaches created the Malechi Mentality phrase after my last name Malecha. Meaning to work hard and go for it all. We have taken this as our team moto.
