  • Coaching Over 30 years! This includes high school and Juniors & Adults in USAV.
    •  
  • 6 years at Cretin Derham Hall
    •  
  • 6 Years at Mpls South HS
    •  
  • 10 years plus at Northern Lights
    •  
  • Coached in the inner-city at City of Lakes and Powderhorn Juniors
    •  
  • Qualified the first 2's team for nationals from the region! Won our pool 1st day at Nationals.
    •  
  • Won the 2010 Northern Lights 16's Power League with MNL 16-4's team.
    •  
  • Attended numerous coaching clinics and workshops at MVI, USAV and the AVCA with some of the top coaches in the country.

    Playing Bio:
     
  • Started playing before girls played in High School
    •  
  • Won Silver Medal in the Silver Division at Adult Nationals
    •  
  • Played on traveling teams in the YMCA circuit and USVBA.
    •  
  • Still try to play when knees will hold up!

    Education:
     
  • School of Life [Hard Knocks?] Continuing through current decade!

    Personal Bio:
     
  • Live in South Minneapolis with partner Linda Laird and dog Toby, who I inherited when daughter went to college.
    •  
  • Raised a daughter and step daughter who both went through the Lights system and moved on to play in college at Southern Illinois University and West Texas A&M.
    •  
  • Construction background with very unusual projects, from 40 foot Pirate Ship at Circus Juventas to replica of the 1887 winter Carnival Ice Castle [10,000 plexiglass cubes!]. Have tools will travel!

  • Keep trying to retire but expect to work until 80.
    •  
    Favorite Volleyball Moment:
     Beating teams we're not supposed to beat. Watching athletes move to new levels of skill and competitiveness. Coaching a movie-star's mom.
