    Favorite Volleyball Moment:
     The last home weekend of my senior season as a Golden Eagle at the University of Minnesota, Crookston is my favorite volleyball moment. Friday nights match was designated as ""Senior Night"". As the only senior, the spotlight was on me to leave Lysaker gymnasium with a lasting impression. Our opponents had beaten us on their home court but were very beatable. A victory would move my team up in conference ranking and place us with a better match-up for the conference tournament. The opening serve was overpassed by a member of the other team and I sent it back to them with a kill that landed just behind the ten foot line. The match was extremely competitive and intense. In game five with the score 13-14 in our favor, the setter forced me a quick set in the middle. I aimed at a back row player and she shanked the ball into the bleachers. It took a second to process our victory before our bench cleared and my teammates and I were celebrating for one last time together on our home court. I ended that game with a career high kills and digs and a memory that will last forever.
