My Favorite Volleyball Moment: |
| | The best moment ever was in the 8th grade. We were playing against Pine Island. It was a close and intense match for an 8th grade team. Our team wasn't that great a scrappy plays or being aggressive. The last couple plays we were getting every ball up in the air! It was pretty awesome. People were diving on the floor and running to every ball. There was a ball coming off the blockers hands and I was racing to go get it. I dived to get that ball and it went straight up! It was the coolest thing ever! That was the first game I actually felt the rush of volleyball. The feeling of playing as a true team. Being able to connect and work everything together. It was sweet! It was a great feeling. That rush and excitement is such a great feeling. I think it was then, when I truly fell in love with the game of volleyball. |
