School accomplishments:
 
  • This year I lettered academically, and made National Honor Society.
    •  
  • I am now a "teacher" at a local elementary School. I help out in the second grade classes, and absolutely love it. It's a wonderful experiance to get me ready for my future plans.
    •  
  • I was nominated to be a Peer Tutor by my teachers in ninth grade at Nicollet Junior High and enjoyed the experience.
    •  
  • My goal is to be an Academic All Star in my Junior/Senior years at BHS.
    •  
  • I have received the Presidential Academic Excellence Award in both eighth and ninth grades.
    •  
    Junior Club Experience:
     
  • I have played junior club volleyball since I was eleven. I have played with several different clubs since then including two years with the Burnsville Thunder.
    •  
  • I was nominated as captain both years on the Burnsville Thunder team.
    •  
  • It is my second year on a Northern Lights team and I'm loving it even more than last year.
    •  
  • This will be my fifth dedicated year to Club experiance. The intensity level always gets higher which keeps pushing me to be better.
    •  
    Future Interests:
     
  • Now that I have grown-up and my dream of becoming the first woman professional baseball player has subsided, I am focusing now on becoming an elementary school teacher.
    •  
  • I would like to recieve my teaching degree, and also become a volleyball coach for a local high school after college. I love teaching and coaching, basically helping people to my ability.

    Other Hobbies, Interests, Etc...
     
  • This will be my first year on the Burnsville High School Badminton team. I am very excited to start. It's such a fun game and keeps my arm moving.
    •  
  • I also play softball for the recreational league during the summer. I have been playing softball since I was five years old. It will also be my fourth year as an umpire.
    •  
  • I have also played the piano since I was nine. It's a calming habit which also gets me out of many chores around the house. As long as I'm playing, I don't have to wash the dishes.
    •  
  • I'm also active in my church youth group.

    My Favorite Volleyball Moment:
     There's always the one girl on the other team that is overwhelmingly intimidating. You tell yourself that, "no, she's not intimidating you can beat her." Then you see the colleges watching her, watch her get kills, and listen to the cockiness in her voice. Well, my favorite moment would have to be blocking her. The excitement and stamina in me flares up ferociously, and for one incredible moment, I have beaten her, I have won. Now the passion in my eyes is fierce and I can't wait to do it again...
